You may have to swallow a higher interest rate but if you shop around and stay in your budget you can find a company to loan you money. If you get on Yahoo search engine and start searching "home loans" "home loans with poor credit" and such, tons of options will be found. I just bought my first home last year and I went with A-america M-middle C-class Mortgage company. They offered me a larger loan with a nice interest rate and then a smaller loan with a higher rate. There are loans that are 80/20 where you essentially carry a 1st loan at 80% and a 2nd loan on 20% and then make a monthly payment on both.
