I live in rhode island. Where do i go to find down payment assistance?
I am a 2nd time home buyer.
The down payment is just too much for me.

Please help!
I already own a home
I purchased it 2 years ago, and thats why i wont make much on it.

I suggest you wait until you can comfortably afford a reasonable downpayment. I did and that’s why I’m worth a lot of money now.

You can check local city agencies if they have down payment assistance, maybe through HUD. Or you could take out an additional loan?References :

If you cannot afford the down payment on a house, them you should not be buying it. That was the type of lending practices that has put this economy into the trouble we are experiencing.References :

there are no longer downpayment assistance programs. With FHA, you need 3.5% down – which HAS TO BE your own money.

If you don’t have this, then you really can’t afford a home.References :
