Dems Called No Money Down Mortgages Great For America. Do You Agree?

No, it wasn’t a good idea. It was a way for people to live beyond their means and for mortgage companies to screw them into payment plans they couldn’t afford. Both sides were wrong and both sides got burned.

    As long as the people were making enough to make their monthly payments. I bought a house no money down…and paid it off, so it worked for me because I didn’t lie on the application for the loan.References :

    It worked great, unfortunately it was abused and the bottom was neglected when the cost of living (gas) went up.

    I wonder who would be rejoicing because another social program was destroyed.References :

    there’s a big difference between a no money down mortgage and an ARM or interest only mortgage… fha loans were no money down until recently… those loans are not what caused the problem.References :

    I got a mortgage with no money down. I’m making my payments. It’s just like everything else, those that abuse it are the problem.References :
