Charging people HIGHER interest rates for having bad credit is a fallacy anyway ; they charge you higher REGARDLESS of whether one misses a payment with THEM. One’s past DOESN’T make it any more of a ‘risk’ them. If it does, why if people don’t miss a payment with the super high rate loan don’t they refund you with the difference afterwards ; it’s an excuse to rip you off

These payday loan people are just pieces of shit people with no heart what so ever!
The problem isn’t so much the interest rate, but the behavior of the person taking out these payday loans. I’ve seen people blow their paycheck on cigarettes, beer, and lottery tickets, then take out loans because they need money for rent. If you only need a loan for 2 weeks, whether you pay $50 or $5 in interest isn’t that significant.
